Antique School Desk with Attached Chair

Antique student desk with attached chair, made by the American Seating Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan (maker's stamp under the desktop). All original pieces - the wood surfaces have been stripped and restored, and the metal frame has a book box under the seat and a pencil groove in the desktop. The metal shows honest age wear, as shown in the close-up photos. A great piece for a homeschool corner, entry, or vintage decor.
